Birthday party round two this afternoon, the boys had a great time! This party had an adorable monkey theme that stretched from the pin the butterfly on the monkey game, to the super cute monkey and bananas cupcake cake to the pinata, to little stuffed monkeys and monkey beach balls in the goody bags, well done!
The party was about an hour out of town, and this was our first time visiting the town of Molalla . I didn't really see enough of the town to claim I have a full impression, but the part I did see looked cute. A small town feel with nice homes.
The drive itself was a little eventful. The sky opened up on us as we were passing through the Keizer area and it was coming down so fast there was standing water on the freeway and pretty poor visibility from all the spray. Traffic slowed down to about 45 mph and I was worried we were going to crawl along all the way to Molalla. Luckily we passed through the rain in about 3 miles and it was smooth sailing from there.
Well, it's time to feed the troops! Black bean-zucchini quesadillas tonight, yummy!
